Italy Work Visa (Lavoro Subordinato)
The Visto per Lavoro Subordinato is a National (Type D) visa for non-EU and non-EEA nationals who have a genuine offer of dependent, subordinate employment from an Italian employer. It covers standard employment relationships, fixed term or indefinite, across sectors from construction and logistics to manufacturing and domestic care.
Who it is for
People with a genuine job offer from an Italian employer for subordinate (dependent) employment; Roles in sectors that regularly draw on the quota, such as construction, logistics, manufacturing, and domestic care; Applicants whose salary or role does not clear the EU Blue Card threshold, or who work in a sector the Blue Card does not cover; Employers who are ready to move quickly once a quota window opens; People planning a multi step move who understand it may take more than one quota cycle to secure a place.
How eMigr8 helps
eMigr8 gives you coaching and guidance to understand the route and prepare a strong application. We do not give legal advice or immigration consultation, and we do not control or influence Italy's quota allocation. The Decreto Flussi rules, quota numbers, and processing windows change and should be confirmed against official Italian government sources, or a qualified professional, before you rely on them.
